VidyaHouse

An AI tutor that teaches from your own textbook

The VidyaHouse AI tutor is being tested and is not open to students yet. It is built to explain a student's own textbook - from a PDF or photos of the pages - and to answer questions with the page and passage it used, so a parent or teacher can check it.

What it is built to do

A student adds their textbook as a PDF or photos of its pages. The tutor explains a chapter in simple language, answers questions about it, and points to the page and passage each answer came from. It can set practice questions on the chapter and keep track of what the student has covered.

Why it cites the page

An answer a child cannot check is an answer nobody can trust. Because every answer names the page of the student's own book it came from, a parent or teacher can open the book and see whether it is right.

Privacy

A student's textbook pages, questions and lessons are private to the student and their guardian. They are never shown publicly or used on any page of this site.

When it opens

It will open once its safety checks for children are finished. Until then, a human tutor on VidyaHouse can help with any chapter - search by class and subject.
